Terms

The terms of use, in plain words

Read this before relying on anything on the site. It is short because the limits are simple.

Accuracy

Every clause line is our own statement of the published ISO 22301:2019 text, cited to its clause. The process readings are our reading of the public record of ISO/DIS 22333, labelled as such. The draft text is not public and is not quoted. We work to be accurate, but the official standards are the authority. Check any line against the official text before you rely on it.

Trademarks and copyright

ISO and the ISO logo are trademarks of the International Organization for Standardization. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by ISO, its national member bodies, any certification body or any standards publisher. Clause numbers, clause titles and defined terms are used for identification. The rest of the text is ours.

Not advice, not a certification

Nothing on this site is legal advice, a certification, an audit, a validation or a guarantee of compliance. A certificate is issued by a certification body against ISO 22301. A guidance document does not change a certificate. The free check is a reading of your answers, not an inspection of your BCMS.

Purchases

The kit is a one-off digital product. The watch is a monthly subscription. Both are sold through Stripe. If a file will not open or the content is materially wrong, contact us and we will fix it or refund it. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be limited.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for a claim connected with the site or a product is limited to resupplying the product or refunding the amount paid. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes a guarantee, condition or warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
